Over the next years, the wood panel industry expects to see new capital investments with an estimated value of US$ 1.2 billion for the new installation of MDF and MDP lines. That
will take today's installed panel capacity of 8.2 million cubic metres to around 10.9 million cubic metres per year
in 2012.

With new investments of around US$ 1.2 billion expected in the 2010-2014 period,
Brazil's installed capacity will see an extraordinary jump from 6 million m³ in 2007 to 10.9 million m³, in 2012.
