With new capital investments forecast to top US$ 1 billion in the three year period 2007/2010, Brazilian installed production capacity will soar from a current annual total of 6 million m3 to 10 million m3 per year in 2010.

ABIPA's member companies generate a total of 30,000 jobs. These important firms and their head offices and industrial plants are located in the states of São Paulo, Minas Gerais, Paraná and Rio Grande do Sul. In 2006,  Brazilian panel industry production reached 4.4 million m3 registering growth of around 10.5% over that of 2005.

Also international, the ISO 9002 category recognises that a company meets rigorous quality standards in its production process. It allows for access to (?) new markets, paying attention to the demands of international and local markets.
