In this programme, the company establishes partnerships with independent rural landowners for eucalypt forest plantation on unused land. The object is to enable small and medium sized rural properties to benefit from the spread of conservation know-how.
Mapping
This is a survey of the state of conservation of the nature reserves, that indicates priority areas for management and preservation aimed at meeting the company's need to harvest raw material, protect the environment of native vegetation as much as of fauna in the region. In this are recorded details of mammals, birds, insects and every species of flora.


The environmental policy of these companies comprises four major objectives: A conservation plan; Environmental education; an Environmental management system and Socio-environmental responsibility. In summary, these objectives establish a basis for the production activities through ? factors that ensure the preservation of the whole ecosystem and the panel producers' commitment to their neighbouring communities.
High productivity levels in wood production in the forests of ABIPA member companies are achieved by observing the principles of sustainable development and multiple use. What guarantees that is the continual investment in new technology, genetic improvement of trees and cloning, apart from sufficient fertilisation and silvicultural practices that maintain and improve soil fertility.
